Terms and Conditions
We
very much want you to enjoy your stay with us, and of course, we want
you to come back again. As such we will do everything
possible to
accommodate any reasonable requests and will work hard to resolve any
issue that has the potential to make your the experience with us
anything less than perfect.
You
should however take time to note the following terms and conditions on
which your booking is made.
Your Booking You
must be at least 18 years of age when you book your accommodation
Any
disputes or queries will be between the party leader and the
owners. The party leader will assume responsibility for the
whole
party and the compliance with these rules of all party members.
We
have the right to refuse any booking prior to the issue of written
confirmation and if we do this we will tell you in writing and promptly
refund any money paid us.
Paying
for your accommodation and cancellation terms. Your
booking is deemed confirmed when we receive a deposit from you of 25%
of the agreed rental figure and by making this payment you will be
accepting these terms and conditions. A contract of booking
is
made when we receive the deposit and a completed booking form.
An
invoice of the balance for the remaining 75% will be issued and should
be paid 8 weeks prior to arrival. Non payment of this balance may, at
our discretion, lead to the cancellation of the booking.
We
can accept cheques drawn on a UK bank account made payable to ‘John
Rae’ or if you would rather make payment via bank transfer please
contact us for our bank details.

event of cancellation by the hirer

In
the event that the owners have to cancel for reasons beyond their
control, a full refund of monies will be given. The owner
cannot
be held responsible for any further or consequential loss. Arrivals Bookings
are usually from Friday to Friday unless otherwise mutually agreed in
writing and the accommodation is available from 1500hrs on day of
arrival and must be vacated by 1000hrs on day of departure unless,
again, by mutual agreement.
Your Responsibilities You
cannot allow more people than you have booked to stay in the
accommodation nor can you significantly change the make up of the party
during the stay.
You may
not carry out any trade or business from the property nor may you sub
let any part of the property.
You must pay due consideration to the
neighbours and avoid late night noise, particularly outside.
Accidents, injury, and personal property. The
owners shall have no liability to you for the death or personal injury
to you or any member of your party. You must take all
necessary
steps to safeguard your personal property. No liability is
accepted by us in respect of damage to, or loss of, such property.
Owner Access The
owners of the property shall be allowed the right of entry to the
property at all reasonable times for the purpose of maintenance or
repair to the property.
Web Site and Advertisements The
owners aim to ensure that the information and descriptions provide are
accurately conveyed on the web site and any authorised third party
sites or advertisements. There may be small differences
between
the actual accommodation and its description as we are constantly
seeking to improve our facilities.
Problems and Complaints Every
effort is made to ensure that your time with us is problem
free.
However, if the occasion should arise where you experience a problem or
have cause to complain then you should contact us immediately to give
us the chance to resolve the matter.
Smoking and Pets No
smoking or pets are permitted in the property.
